BILLY BANG is NAMED the HOTTEST MC, by HOWARD's WHBC 830am RADIO

WHBC RADIO Station on the Campus of Washington D.C.'s HOWARD UNIVERSITY has been the voice of whats hot in Music in the DMV for over 35 years. This year the held their first annual competition & concert to bring some shine to artists & musicians from right on Howard's Campus. The Radio station looked at what Howard MC's were making an impact with their music and promotion as well as taking in dozens upon dozens of submissions from up&coming Howard Student MCs & producers and chose 8 finalists:

FOUR Producers & FOUR MCs/HipHop Artists

On OCTOBER 20th on the campus of HOWARD U. over 700 students witnessed a concert for the ages. WHBC staged a gradnd show to select their winners. Producers played a mix of their beats while garnering crowd reaction. Then came the "REAL" show. All four Acts performed a set and were judged by a panel of music industry insiders & producers. Lastly crowd participation and reaction cast the final vote. Once the dust settled, BILLY BANG was unianimously named as the 2010 HOTTEST MC!

I was able to grace the stage for a feature performance this week at one D.C.'s hottest regular HipHop shows the THE BEAT CLASH v THE MIC CLASH hosted by the DMV underground HipHop officianado Jamal / Carry-out Productions / www.DCRap.com The audience was live and energetic. I loved the venue b/c it allowed me to touch the people and be close to the fans. I hit them with a freestyle, as well as some songs off of the C.R.E.A.M. 2010 soundtrack/album including "FROM THE CITY"
